Bactigras is a sterile paraffin gauze dressing designed to provide a soothing, low-adherent wound contact layer for a variety of wound types. The open-weave gauze is impregnated with soft paraffin, helping to minimise adherence to the wound surface and reduce trauma during dressing changes.

Bactigras is commonly used as a primary wound contact dressing and should be covered with an appropriate secondary absorbent dressing where required.
